General Home Inspection

Snapshot Home Inspections - Quality Home Inspection In Edmonton
  • GENERAL HOME INSPECTION DESCRIPTION

  • A General Home Inspection is defined as a non-invasive, visual inspection of accessible components defects and safety issues. The inspection is designed to reflect the visible condition of the home and it’s major systems, at the time of the inspection.

Including a home inspection on your checklist when purchasing a home is a smart decision. Further more you want a reliable certified inspector you can count on.

At Snapshot Home Inspection Services we use the latest reporting software not to mention the inspection report will be available to you the same day.  The report will be clearly written as well as having several pictures and infographics.

What to expect at inspection time: The inspector will arrive at the home and after a brief introduction continue with the inspection of the grounds, exterior areas of the home and the garage (if present). Once inside the home the inspector will meet with the client for a formal introduction and review any conditions that may have been noted outside. The inspection will then focus on the main and upper floors of the home, again following up with any noted conditions with the client. Next, the inspector will focus on the basement or crawlspace and the utilities. The last area of the home to be inspected would be the attic if one is present.

Rural property and acreage inspections are available hence we are experienced in private water systems, septic systems, well water testing and out buildings.

Your report will generally cover the following areas of the home:

Roof
Exterior
Basement, Foundation, Crawlspace & Structure
Heating
Cooling
Plumbing
Electrical
Fireplace
Attic, Insulation & Ventilation
Doors, Windows & Interior
